The NYX Sports Vision System (SVS)
is designed to span the wide variety of conditions that sportsmen
face... that being brightness and contrast. Brightness is the property
of light which makes you squint and is controlled by varying the
total amount of light being allowed through the lens. Contrast is
the property of light which allows you to differentiate colors and
focus on an object. This is controlled by varying the amount and
type of color allowed through the lens.
When considering a lens choice it is important
to know what that lens is going to do. The color aspect is going
to add tint to the environment and give you details to a target
or surface you are looking at. The amount of darkness, or lightness,
of the lens will control the measure of light that actually reaches
your eye. With the NYX variety of interchangeable lenses, this amount
can be as much as 98%, to as little as 12%.
It is important to pick a lens that will help
leave your eyes in an "open" state without squinting or
straining. This leaves them with the full ability to see a target
clearly without fatiguing them over a duration of time. Adding a
polarized aspect to the lens will help reduce glare commonly found
off of water and flat rodeway surfaces. This is a must request for
the fishing industry!
All of NYX lenses absorb 100% of UVA and
UVB harmful rays and are ANSI Z80.1 rated. |
